Alert Triggers make an immediate impact in your day-to-day life as an HR professional. They give you the confidence that your workforce is staying on track and productive, even when you’re out.
Alert Triggers work by performing an action when triggered by a condition. It is a flexible feature that can be used to streamline a wide variety of actions, often revolving around important dates in your HRIS system.
Stay on Track
For example, set alerts to be reminded when:
- A new hire needs to be added to a benefit plan (90 days after hire date)
- An employee is in need of re-certification (90 days before certification expiration date)
- The time for an annual performance review is approaching (30 days before next review date)
Alert Triggers can also be used to improve communication and impact culture. For example, send an email to a manager the week before the birthday or anniversary of one of their employees. (Bonus: include a list of their allergies in the email, so you don’t buy the wrong kind of cake!)
