When an employee submits a change, that change can require a simple or complex approval, based on the circumstance. The approval chain can be customized to require manager, supervisor, or HR approval.
You determine which types of changes require manager approval in the HR system. If a change requires approval, they will be queued into the approver’s Inbox. The approver can reject the change, and it will be sent back to the employee (a message will be queued into the employee’s Inbox); or, the approver can approve the change and it will be forwarded to the appropriate HR administrative user within People-Trak. From within People-Trak, the change can be approved and posted, or returned to the employee for correction.
There are various types of approvals, such as org-chart based or even specific employee based. Any way you set it up, approvals keep your organization running smoothly even without your direct involvement.
